beautyuk nail polishes: cheap & cheerful!

Let me start by saying, I love these polishes! -I do!

First of all, they're dirt cheap... at £1.99 each, there's a reasonable amount of colors to choose from with some being a perfect summer shade.
They glide like there's no tomorrow and dries fairly quick too...

Chip wise? -can't complain, I think they're really fantastic.
Once, it took 13 days before I got my first chip!
Yes, I keep my nail polish on until I see a chip it doesn't matter how long :p

I discovered them by accident on a nail polish hunt at Superdrug which I believe carries them exclusively and being that I'm a drugstore nail polish buyer, I had to give it a go!

First color I picked up was Mauve Flash which is a really nice Fuchsia Pink, with no expectations at all, I loved it and went back for more.

Enough rambling, here's some swatches:

Go Green, Mauve flash, Pink explosion
Mauve flash, Pink explosion, Go green

Have you tried anything from the brand? More nail polish recommendations perhaps?

TEMPLESPA Skin Truffle: Happiness in a jar

This has to be my holy-grail when it comes to face products. I have always been open with the thought of "maybe" having some botox done here and there and some chemical peels on the side when Mac Prep + Prime primer and sh*tloads of Studio fix foundation can't give my skin anymore justice.

However, after seeing TV shows about Botulinum Toxim and other "non-surgical procedures" -I bailed out. It's evident that this resort would mean a never ending maintenance/commitment to needles, apparatuses and £££!!

Skeptic when it comes to pricey products,
I always ask myself "What can this do that a drugstore brand can't?"

With ingredients like Diamond powder, Black truffles, Grape seed champagne, Gold and Silk actives cocktailed with more other good stuff, it's luxury, and that luxury starts from the packaging to the product itself.

Here are some excerpts from their website:

In tests, 80% declared increased radiance and reduced dullness upon immediate application. 100% said fine lines were visibly reduced and 100% said their skin hydration levels improved immediately.
  • Instant radiance, lustre and clarity
  • Long term anti-ageing
  • Revives tired, dull skin
  • Regulates moisture levels
  • Protects from age spots and hyper-pigmentation
  • Suits all skin types

Uses:

  • A daytime boost - for when you need to look your best
  • An overnight cream for when you need recovery
  • A luxury restorative boosting treatment for a special occasion, or for when you feel like spoiling yourself
  • Amazing results however you choose to use it
At £80/50ml, it goes a long way and I can honestly say the product is simply wonderful.
It matches up to its claims and I'm just one of the many who has given this a thumbs up, or two!
(Tons of great reviews online)

I look forward to it every time and trusts that my skin would have the "ooooompph!"
minus the pain/discomfort of non-surgical procedures. -and it never disappointed.

Like in many cases, prevention is better than cure. :)
